[ Style Hunter | Wash Out ]

The season's denim options are all washed out – stone and acid that is. For the spring and fall seasons bleach treated jeans cleaned up the runways in skinny, ripped styles at Balmain and baggy, rumpled looks at Diesel Black Gold while Miss Sixty nearly bleached their denim white. Don’t’ call it a comeback, acid and stone wash jeans are here to stay in modernly major way.

Rock your own ultra-glam retro cool look-just channel Madonna and Michael Jackson in all their 80s glory- because it’s the only way you should be wearing your jeans at the moment. Pair them with everything from oversized sweaters to blazers to your favorite tanks and tees. Just make sure to add a pop of color and a bold accessory.

Don’t want to spend on the trend? Get a completely original pair by creating them yourself. Pull out an old pair of jeans, scissors, a few cups of bleach-depending on how bleached out you want them-grab a few smooth stones (if you want the stone wash look) and commence washing, bleaching and ripping—the more bleached and ripped the better, so wash on!

[ Style Hunter | Oversized Earrings ]

Go big or stay home. One of the season's biggest trends, opulently oversized earrings, skimmed the runways in leather wrapped twists at Louis Vuitton, tangled metal and chains at Ann Demeulemeester, and shoulder-dusting fringe at Marc Jacobs. Whether accessorizing for a casual weekend picnic, night of club-hopping or formal gala a pair of shoulder-sweeping earrings should top off your look. Take note to pull your hair back or up out of the way letting your oversized earrings claim the focal point of your look.

Aldo's Sark chandelier filigree earrings embellished with beads and almond-shaped rhinestones embody a royal elegance that will leave them in awe of your style status.

Express' Fringe Chain & Charm earrings have an antique silver filigree yet thoroughly modern chain hung coin charms that provide a fun and playful touch. They promise a look with showy flare and swingy shine.

bebe's Wavy Disc chandelier earrings give the illusion of metal in motion. The loosely linked metallic discs overlap creating shimmering dimension in a fashion forward style.

Forever 21's Tassel Dangle earrings mix the classic glamor of pearls, the vintage charm of lacquered colored flowers and the modern edge of tassel-end chains for a look that is stylishly chic.

Forever 21's Medea hook earrings' dangling chains provide a nonchalant teardrop structure for the distorted circle charms to hang in all their high polished rock glam essence.

(NOTE: When ordering online, earrings may appear larger than actual size, make sure they measure at least 3.5" or more in length from the hook/post/clip to get the shoulder-skimming effect.)

style is so personal . . . it is a visual extension of thoughts, feelings and moods, which is why it can change ever so subtly or in the most grandeur fashion and, when it is genuine, can never truly be wrong.
