[ Style Steal | LOUIS VUITTON ]

Red, in varying hues, was a major color force on many fall runways including Louis Vuitton. Marc Jacobs mixed bold oversized shoulders in bright hues with the frivolity of tiered ruffles and lace.

Get your own late eighties-inspired look with Forever Audrey’s double breasted wool a-line coat and Forever 21’s Sassy satin, mesh and lace tiered skirt. And your look wouldn’t be complete without Pleaser’s Indulge thigh-high platform boot with almond toe.

[ Runway Style | Inspired by...PHI ]

Biker meets aviator sums up the utilitarian looks at PHI. Designer Andreas Melbostad has mastered the sophistication needed to pull off the modern badass eighties look.

I've always loved the black and navy color combo and though not exact, these pieces still embrace the vibe of PHI's collection.

First you'll need to shop your closet for a basic black turtleneck and a pair of black tights. Then you're ready rock Forever 21's studded faux leather mini skirt with Opening Ceremony's cropped jacket which is currently on sale. Or you can go with what I'll be wearing soon: French Connection's long-sleeved fitted pullover knit dress--with flapover detailing on shoulder--cinched at the waist with Armani Exchange's triple buckle belt. Oh, and you can't forget Tarnish's long leather gloves to solidify the biker edge.

[ Personal Style | Downtown Chic ]

Downtown chic is easily accomplished with Forever 21's cinched faux leather pants paired with Topshop's basic oversize crop tee and topped off with BB Dakota's faux-fur Rachel vest. Step into Restricted's long and lean suede Vamp knee boot before you complete the look with Forever 21's rhinestone burst ring and Arden B's long hammered ring necklace. Finally, grab Necessary Objects' Edward clutch--Downtown has never looked so chic.

[ Window Shopping | Mixed Media ]

For autumn Marciano goes back to black, but there's nothing basic about these noir beauties. Playing with different textures--patent,knits,suede and exotic skins--to create attention-grabbing details while maintaining the essence of sleek and simple footwear, Marciano serves up some of my favorite options for fall.

Teodora mixes strappy patent leather over a layer of cutout suede for the ultimate sexy stiletto--exposed heels and peeping toes agree.

Crysta is double the chic with removable akle-wraping strap that lets you go from day to night in seconds; read: straight from work to the party.

Carelle lets you show as much or as little of your wild side as you like with an easily removable reptile-embossed ankle & sole wrapping buckle--but that wouldn't be any fun.

Justina has understated fashion authority with hints of high-gloss patent trimming the suede knee-high boot--look but don't stare.

Aria mixes the ultimate cool weather media: supple leather and soft sweater knit and adds a lacing up the back calf to become the "it" boot of the season. No objection here.

[ Style Steal | Zanotti {v} Zigi ]

Giuseppe Zanotti's leather cutout booties are perfect for showcasing your fearless style or adding that fashion forward panache to a simple ensemble. Wear them now with pedicured toes and rest assured that these booties can you guide you right into the autumn season and through the cooler nights by pairing with tights or socks. And the silver metallic heel adds that extra oomph--not that you'll need it--to your look.

If Zanotti's silver-heeled stunners leave you monetarily deprived then step on over to DSW and put Zigi's leather options to the test. The Soho Trump and Soho Traitor--although both are sans metallic heel--are just as stylish.

[ Runway Style | Inspired by...Gucci ]

I know summer is winding down, and practically over in many's opinion; but it's still warm outside--just ask Mr. Temperature. To make the most of these last few days of summer here a few runway style options that are not only warm-weather friendly, but budget friendly as well.

The best part is that these options can be carried through autumn too. Just pair Bebe's draped silk romper with tights and boots (ankle, knee or thigh-high), throw on a cropped jacket or chunky knit sweater and you're night-on-the-town ready. Forever 21's lace-up drawstring tunic fits easily over your favorite denim---skinny or wide-leg--for a more casual look.

style is so personal . . . it is a visual extension of thoughts, feelings and moods, which is why it can change ever so subtly or in the most grandeur fashion and, when it is genuine, can never truly be wrong.
