There are heels and then there are shut up, look and listen because I'm-making-a-statement-heels. I don't know about you, but I prefer the latter. Apparently so do the creatives at Salvatore Ferragamo who decided to treat supple calfskin to a special laser cutting technique before adding a little satin and a few studs (under the little laser-cut flaps that look like fish scales) to grace us with this unique metallic gold peep toe bootie with lace detail. Severly coveted, just ask Beyonce, Rihanna or Kate Moss, Balmain's collection--by way of Christophe Decarnin--is full of heavily detailed seperates in an uncomplicated color palette of black, white and gray with an exciting pop of bright cobalt blue. Sequins were strong on long sleeved mini dresses--in cobalt blue and black--as well as harem pants while jeans were studded all over.
